My name is Bella Zaleski, and I am a 22-year-old tattoo artist based in Austin, Texas, currently creating at American Gypsy Tattoo. Art has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. From drawing and painting as a child to creating custom artwork and murals, I have always been driven by the desire to bring ideas to life and connect with others through creativity.

My passion for art led me to initially pursue a degree in Studio Art and Design at ACC, where I continued developing my skills and exploring my artistic voice. During that journey, I discovered tattooing and felt called to pursue it. The ability to create meaningful, permanent artwork that becomes a part of someone's story felt like the perfect way to combine my love for art and connection.

Before beginning my tattoo career, I spent over five years building my own art business, creating custom pieces, murals, and commissioned work for clients throughout my community. I also had the privilege of teaching art, I worked with young artists and saw firsthand the impact creativity can have on confidence, self-expression, and personal growth. These experiences shaped the way I approach my work today; with patience, communication, and a genuine appreciation for every person I have the opportunity to create with.

Outside of the studio, you can usually find me skateboarding at House Park, lifting weights, or exploring the outdoors. Movement, nature, and the world around me are some of my biggest sources of inspiration, and I love incorporating those influences into my artwork and tattoos.

I am passionate about continuing to learn, grow, and refine my craft while creating tattoos that feel personal, intentional, and meaningful. I'm grateful to be on this journey and excited for every opportunity to collaborate with clients and bring their ideas to life.
